I am the childminder and registered person who is responsible for my setting.

With over 20 years’ experience of working with children, I am passionate about the quality of care I provide for them. You will find that even though I’m home-based, my setting is more like a nursery.

Along with a team of dedicated and trained assistants, my aim is to provide home-from-home care for your child.

Learning Partner

I am the senior assistant in the setting and an experienced mum. I was previously working as a classroom assistant for a number of years.

My particular skills are in story-telling and leading the primary activities. I’m the key worker for the older children in the setting.

I also do the weekly plan of activities for all the children so am very close to the developmental stages of each child.

Sejal Parmar
Learning Associate

I am the most recent addition to the setting.

My particular skills are circle time and leading the musical activities. I try and bring a new nursery rhyme for the children every week. It’s so rewarding to see children learn and try new things.

I’m the key worker to the youngest set of children in the setting.

Head of Nursery

I manage all the back-office operations of our setting. This frees the assistants to focus on caring for the children. I have over six years experience in this industry as well as training in numerous areas of childcare.

I'm the settings SENCO and the lead person to deal with Ofsted and other regulatory authorities. I also plan and deliver the training for the assistants, usually once a fortnight at least.

Play Phonics

Once a week, Emmy brings phonics learning to life through fun-packed drama workshops.

Phonics is taught through unique kinesthetic, auditory and visual techniques that only Emmy can do! This is a supplementary activity used in conjunction with our other systematic phonics teaching we do.

The sessions have been carefully designed to introduce children to Phase 1 and Phase 2 phonics using drama, singing and interactive fun.
